The Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) Program is the Australian cattle, sheep and goat industry's on-farm assurance program.
The LPA Standards address food safety, biosecurity and animal welfare practices and underpin declarations made by producers on LPA National Vendor Declarations (NVDs).
AUS-MEAT has been involved with the LPA program since its introduction in 2004 and is responsible for conducting audits of LPA Accredited Producers on behalf of the program owner (Integrity Systems Company).
